CALVIN LESTER HALLMARK

BALLINGER -- Calvin Lester Hallmark, 55, of Ballinger passed away Saturday, April 28, 2001, in San Angelo Community Medical Center.

He was born July 26, 1945, in Ballinger. He graduated from Ballinger High School in 1964. Calvin served in the U.S. Army for three years, returned to Ballinger and became the deputy sheriff.  Calvin had been a farmer/rancher for the past 20 years.

His daughter, Kimberly Marie Hallmark preceded him in death in 1984.

Survivors include his parents, Margaret and Herman Hallmark of Ballinger; two brothers, Alvin Hallmark and his wife, Betty, of Ballinger and Jerry Hallmark and his wife, Patti, of Abilene; two sisters, Charlotte Gunyon and her husband, O.C., of Mexia, Texas, and Sharon Nixon and her husband, Steve, of Ballinger; 25 nieces and nephews; and 16 greatnieces and great-nephews.

Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Rains-Seale Funeral Home.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Seventh Street Baptist Church in Ballinger with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger.

Calvin was such a special and giving person. He is loved and missed by his family and friends.
